0:38.2

They're kind of fun, but telling stories about his era, I guess, his little, his short tenure in

0:46.7

Washington, very indicative of what happened here.

0:50.5

So they get into that, talk about like the worst draft pick I've seen them make and why.

0:59.0

And then one of my favorite interviews on draft day and you're not going to be surprised by this one. So anyway, so stay tuned for that. Before I get there, just a couple of things.

1:04.1

So for ESPN, we do our NFL Nation mock draft that will air on Tuesday. I think it's either

1:10.0

three or four Tuesday afternoon.

1:11.8

So look for it there.

1:13.0

I will explain it out of a podcast out later explaining why I made the pick I did and just

1:19.4

some scenarios that I think could happen here, some other draft day stuff.

1:23.5

And then, you know, obviously the draft is on Thursday.

1:26.5

I think you know that. I think we all know that. I think we all can't wait until this is over to get it going to see, like to stop talking about the draft and start looking about like, okay, now we know who they picked. How does the guy fit him? So for ESPN, I'll be doing video analysis of each pick. That'll be up shortly after the pick is made. I will also have

1:45.6

written analysis as well. That I'll go out there and then a video at the end of the draft. And then

1:50.4

for here, I will be doing a podcast about the pick going into more depth and detail about why they

1:56.7

made the choice they did. So, and then we'll have more, more on day two, more on day three. Stay tuned for all that, and there you go. So I think that's all I have to talk about. So let's get to the Spurrier stuff and gets get to the draft day stuff, because that's the fun part. And the Spurrier stuff is really indicative. Again, I've already used that word. So let's go back to his opening pressure when they was signed here. His goal in the while coming to the NFL and to Washington was

2:22.6

just for one purpose. Does his offense work in the NFL? That was always what intrigued him

2:27.3

and to the point where I just don't think he ever understood what it took to be successful

2:32.9

in the NFL. And there's preparation, there's knowledge, et cetera. And that first press guns, he didn't know anybody who was on the Redskins at the time. Contrast that with the year before with Marty Schottnheimer, who knew so much about the guys in the roster, even though he had only been here. I mean, he had just gotten here, but he knew the tackles of the building blocks. He knew this, he knew this, he knew this. This spirit didn't know anything. So let's go to his first NFL draft.

2:55.0

So this is the 2002 draft. You don't know what they're going to do. In the old media room,
