For those of us who have taken it upon ourselves, we have stepped up not to just study the Bible for ourselves.

But actually, we want to know it and understand it and grasp it in such a way that we could give it back out to many who are hungry to have the Bible taught to them.

I don't know exactly why God ordained it this way, but he did that his means of grace to us for growth would be through his word, and particularly his word taught and preached.

And so we want to be as equipped as we can to, as Paul said to Timothy, handle rightly

the word of truth.

That's our deepest desire.
