All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm along with my colleague Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers for the athletic.

And wow, do we have a triple header to talk to you about today?

NASCAR at Sonoma, F1 at Baku, IndyCar at Road America, lots happening

all over the world.

And Jordan will bring you in.

How are you doing?

Doing well.

I don't know where we start.

I mean, it was a lot of storylines, a lot of wildness, a lot of unexpectedness to some

degree, especially in the NASCAR race,

because I know over the last 30 laps or so, we were sitting there like, is this, is this the

day, Swarrest is going to win? It felt, you know, I'll be honest, I feel like we have said he's

somebody who kind of sees these things slip away for one reason or another, and I was kind of making

jokes about it or maybe

I wasn't I'm not sure how was he going to lose this race and he pulled it off well you know it just

sort of you just kept waiting for something to fall out of the sky on him or him to overcook

the corner you know a lot of pressure I mean we've seen him you, sort of try too hard at times or, you know, just make

mistakes, things like that.

And, you know, he just drove the race of his life.
