I can't tell you how many times in the first at least 10 years of our business, people told us

skateboarding is just a fad and it's going to go away. Don't make a business plan because you won't be in business for long and, you know,

moments of self-doubt or, you know, when things aren't going well, it's sometimes those voices

can creep in, but now I can't even imagine having taken a different path with my life.

We have our hobbies and passions, and then we have the work that pays the bills.

But when we see others living out the career of their dreams, we might wonder, how did they get there?

While some career paths are more straightforward, others, like starting a business, don't always
