So we had 12 people to one bathroom,

and I have these very vivid memories of I'm in the shower

in this like really, really decrepit bathroom,

and someone is next to me washing a basket of fish

as like giant cockroaches are like climbing down

from the sides of the shower. And so you never really

learned like, it was like, you're in the bathroom. The girl who sat in front of me, whose name is

Kara Benson. And the only reason I remember this is because of 9-11, turns around and looks out

the window behind us. And she says, oh, my God, a plane just went into the World Trade Center. So now, of course, we are all running to the window behind us and she says, oh my God, a plane just went into the World Trade Center.

So now, of course, we are all running to the window and looking at what's happening.

So we're just standing there.

Teenagers, no one knows what's happening.

The school had TVs in every room.

So eventually the teacher turned on the TV to see what was happening. You can tell your

brain to think about this differently. Clearly, they're not there yet, but this ability to believe that

you can control, like you can control your feelings, you can control how you, you know, your mind. And it was,

it seems like such simple advice, but it's very common, especially from like sort of the Chinese,

it's just like, yeah, you just need to go. In fact, a lot of Eastern medicine is like that. So my job

primarily is to generate originations, which is essentially we make loans to small businesses.
