Open up your Bible, you can make your way to Joshua, chapter 2. The title of this talk today is from red lights to red letters.

That's where we're going. We're going from red lights to red letters. Little background, Joshua is one of the most interesting books, unique books in the Old Testament.

It's been called the Ephesians of the Old Testament. Some of you have read the book of Ephesians. It's a book that is all about the richness that's ours.

Imagine if you were living on the street, hand a mouth, barely you know scraping by what you could beg to not starve to death and then you discovered

that a rich uncle you never met had left you a vast inheritance and you were like a billionaire and all of that was in your account but you

went on living on the street how crazy would that be that's the book of Joshua

that's the book of Ephesians it's that we've been blessed in this Christian life with every

spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The wire hit your bank account.

So what are you doing? Live in hand-to-mouth spiritually speaking like you were,

like you were poor?

You have it all. It's yours and cray.

What a great thing it is to know that.

It's like, well, that is very helpful to know that.

To discover that.

And then you can act on it and spiritually

start writing checks of faith.

And that's what Joshua hinted at.

That's what Ephesians introduces us to.

So by way of backstory, we have gone about 500 years

from last week's message.
