Okay, hi guys, welcome back to Texas and Nows. I'm your host, Shannon Beveridge, and you are in my new living room, a new set this week.

Last week, if you watched, you know that I was like deathly ill when I filmed my intro. I probably could have done something to make

myself like a little bit better that day but I just couldn't. Honestly I actually couldn't.

It's like very rare for me to be sick. So when I am it's just like I don't know what to do with myself

Also it was like a 24-hour bug which I don't know about y'all but that's been going around in LA

I wasn't the only person who had that. So I don't know what's going on.

Is it just the change of seasons? It really feels like fall in the last like week or so in Los Angeles.

Just like it feels like the wind

changed or something like the breeze is like cooler than it was and I'm

stoked honestly I'm like kind of like ready for summer to be over which I feel

is not usually how I feel like I love summer

But I'm just excited to do like fall things and I love dressing up in fall clothes like it is exactly the kind of clothes I want to wear all the time

sweatshirts and jeans and pants and I like thrive in that weather in that environment so

I'm excited for that speaking of I've been buying stuff on D-pop. I've gone crazy. I was just

telling my therapist today that I've been like I'm always just like the my relationship with money and how I spend money I've always been I wouldn't say that I'm frugal by any means but I don't buy myself things very often or like clothes or like whatever I tend to go shopping usually if I

have an event or like whatever I just don't buy myself clothes that often and

when I do I usually am like oh I'll buy like I can buy one thing on depopop and I don't know who made that rule for me I made it for myself so anyway I've been trying to like let myself buy myself some stuff like not even it's not even I'm not even buying fancy stuff

and buying stuff on do you pop but I don't know what happened it's interesting the way we

are like all raised and how we associate with money I don't know why that's been a topic I've been

talking a lot about recently and like I don't know it's just interesting like

both my parents grew up really not very wealthy and the way that they are with money is so opposite of each other even like my dad is very like giving and wants to buy a bunch of stuff and like the second he had money he like bought himself like nice things and then with my mom she's very frugal very very frugal like if she goes to get her hair done at the salon

She will leave with her hair wet because she doesn't want to pay to blow dry it.
