Here I read an amazing writing from Eric Butterworth as he discusses the polarity between poverty and prosperity What you do with the wealth of the earth depends upon your shape of consciousness. You live in an unlimited universe that will accomodate you with pretty much what you have the consciousness to accept. Poverty is a state of consciousness and prosperity is a state of consciousness. What is the difference between a patch of weeds and a beautifully cultivated garden? No difference basically. 0:08.3	Today I want to read a powerfully inspirational piece of writing from Eric Butterworth from his book,
0:17.3	Unity of All Life, that deals with going from indigence to affluence, from poverty to prosperity.
0:26.8	This particular book covers a variety of cool aspects dealing with the unity of all life in all of its different dynamics,
0:36.9	in particular the polarities from a variety of subjects.
0:41.7	And this one deals with the study of affluence in relation to indigenous and poverty.
0:50.6	Eric Butterworth was an amazing new thought teacher.
0:53.0	We've covered him in several episodes in the past.
0:57.6	From poverty to prosperity. No study of the unity of all life would be complete without dealing with poverty, that most deadly and prevalent of all diseases.
1:12.9	We are confronted with the strange paradox of affluence and indigence
1:17.8	existing side by side in a prodigal universe.
1:22.1	It is an irrefutable fact that there are in the world more substance, more resources, more real wealth than the
1:30.0	world can possibly use. And yet, we have conditions of poverty. Poverty implies a lack of the
1:38.4	goods needed to sustain life in mediocre contentment. There is no denying the fact that millions of people on earth
1:46.2	live below that standard. However, it is interesting that despite the fluctuations of our own economy,
1:54.0	there is no real change in the supply of the basic stuff. We think of expanding wealth,
1:59.7	but the quantity of substance within the Earth's
2:02.4	atmosphere has buried little, in the billions of years since its formation. A few meteorites have
2:09.4	crashed through to be buried in the Earth, and a few space vehicles have been sent off into the
2:15.9	solar system, but otherwise, all is pretty much the same.
2:20.0	As a citizen of the universe, with an amazingly creative mind, you have been endowed with the
2:27.2	potential to create a heaven on earth. Thou madeest him to have dominion over the works of thy
