All right, we are in Romans chapter one,

and we are at the very last verse of the first chapter,

verse number 32.

And the apostle Paul has described for us what I'm referring to as this big snowball of sin that is

rolling down the hill.

When sin begins, it starts to pick up speed and it starts to grab all kinds of behaviors to pull along with it

and catch mankind up in as we begin to practice in and he says here in chapter one that it all starts with a

desire to turn away from acknowledging God as God.

Did you know that's the beginning of where sin starts?

That's the very outset of our deviant behavior, all of our struggles, all of our sin problems, they all come

from a lack of acknowledging God. And when a person repents, they turn back toward God, they acknowledge his place as the Lord in

their lives. And Paul wraps up chapter one here, explaining the very furthest extreme to which sin takes us.

And it's what I would say, it's the difference between being a practitioner and being an advocate.
