Summary
The number one problem people have with their mentality is moving onto the "next big thing" before finishing the previous "big thing" they didn't finish. It's called shiny object syndrome. The problem with society today is there is no voice telling you that your market doesn't have to be the best to become successful.
Ryan speaks about what the hustle was really like for him after leaving a one year prison sentence going from making over half a million a year selling mortgages (time served wasn't related to his profession) to washing cars. Ryan quickly learned that people never make it in this world because they can't have the patience to become the Master in their industry which ends up leaving them as the continuous Novice.
Just because there is a low supply of leaders doesn't mean there's a low abundance of opportunity. Ryan challenges you to step back and reflect to see if you have been making a habit and pattern out of moving and not keeping longevity, that being said it's time to make a stand.
