So I'm going to peel back the curtain a little bit and share a little bit of a secret with you.

0:03.9

When you work in television news, your job is to make sure, A, that the information is accurate.

0:10.4

And also part of that job means having someone to join the segment that you're producing to talk about with the on-air talent, with the anchor, to talk about the case, the story,

0:22.2

whatever it is.

0:23.8

And oftentimes your job is to find someone who may not necessarily be connected to the

0:28.3

story, the case, as it is, but is intelligent and has the knowledge in the background that

0:33.7

they can lend some value to the conversation.

0:36.0

And so part of my job for a long time when I worked in television was to do that.

that the guest we talk to today on off script is one of the guys that I worked with

1:12.0

many a times at my time in television news. And he was the best guy because he knew exactly

1:19.1

what he was talking about. He always brought value to the conversation. He is qualified.

1:24.7

He is a incredibly nice guy. And I think you'll find all of that to be true when you listen to our conversation today. And the guy that I'm talking about is a gentleman by the name of James Galliano. A long time FBI law enforcement veteran, he's served in a number of different capacities in a number of different places.

1:45.4

And every time he was on television, I couldn't help but listen closely to what he had to

1:50.3

say because he always brought value to the conversation. And I think that's what you're going

1:54.8

to find today. And above all else, James Galliano, Jimmy, as he is called to his friends, is an incredibly nice guy.
