Greg Lawson is a retired lieutenant and training academy director with over 32 years of experience. He has served as hostage negotiator, SWAT officer, underwater recovery specialists, and homicide detective. In addition,

he has 10 years military service and is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

But Greg has also spent much of his life exploring strange places. He has investigated paranormal

hotspots in over 44 countries. He's an international lecturer and author of five books,

Roswell, the After Action Report, How to Be a Paranormal Detective, Diaries of a Paranormalist,

Detecting Paranormal, and his latest one, Messages from Mothman. Currently, Greg is a

criminal law professor at ACC and an instructor for

MENGER Public Safety Training where he specializes in aquatic death investigation. He lectures

nationwide and will be this year's MC for Utah's Phnomicon featuring Skinwalker Ranch,

Expedition Bigfoot, and others. And that'll be in September. Greg, thank you so much for doing the show today.

I am very pleased to be here. Thanks for asking me. That was awesome. Yeah, I feel like it's been a while since I've seen you. So I just want to tell people, too, we have met before. I think the first time you were on my old podcast, but I think the first time I met you

in person was at Michigan Paracom. It might have been, yeah, because we did some stuff in Tombstone,

but I don't remember if that was after or before that. It was after, okay. Yeah, Michigan Paracon was, I only went one time and it was such a cool experience for me because I had

had so many people.

I've done like 200 episodes on my previous podcast, but I had met so few of the people on

there in person.

Like, you know, obviously we've talked and stuff, but so I got to

meet everyone in like real life and it was so fun and so exciting. And there's like a, uh,

a bar scene that goes along with Michigan paracom with like karaoke and like mingling and

cocktails. And it's just so much fun to like be in that kind of atmosphere with everyone and really just get to know everybody.

It was, man, Michigan Paracan. I can't remember if it went 13 years, 16 years, something like that.

13, I think, because I think the 13th was the last one because I thought, oh, that's a cool number to go to, number 13.
