I went in the United States Marine Corps and flew F4 fighter planes,

there were four three- month sessions that you did and I got lucky because my fourth session

was the last three months I was there and I went up to Iwakuni Japan and when the squad went back, I had three weeks to a month left, so they left me in

We had dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, and there's a peace park there now, which we visited.

But when I flew my plane, I flew over Hiroshima at however made 20,000 feet and looked through

I don't know what happened to it, but I took a picture looking through my bombsite

I was living in a one-room tenant house on a farm
