Being counted on and being expected to be, you know, like, I guess, in a sense of star when you go out there, they, you know, that's kind of what I felt like in Korea.

And it's something that lit a fire in me again that makes me so excited to come back here and play.

Eric Fettys rode back to the major leagues, took him to the other side of the world.

It's a comeback story that has the potential to be a big one this season with the White Sox.

And after six seasons with the Washington Nationals, Fetty, a former first-round pick needed to fix himself.

He changed his mechanics.

He added some pitches.

And instead of signing a minor league deal here in the States because that was the best he could do,

he bet on himself in a big, big way, signing with the NC Dinos in Korea.

And as this new and improved pitcher, he won the MVP and the KBO's version of the Sy Young Award,

going 20 and 6 with an ERA of 2.

Well, Fetty was no surprise in high demand this winter.

Many teams were after him, but he signed with the White Sox.
