Hello everybody, welcome back to a quick episode of Ref Left Radio.

This is going to be pretty quick and it is here to accomplish two things.

One is to let people know that we have a brand new t-shirt design.

We worked with goods for the people a few years back on an original Rev-Left design, and many of you will

know it's the burning White House with the little hammer and sickle floating in from above,

and Rev-Left radio spelled out in the smoke. We love that design. We loved working with the

comrades over at Goods for the People. COVID really did a number to their business. They

struggled to survive through it. Even after that sort of supply chain shock passed, they've kind of regrouped, come together, reformed their business, relaunched in a lot of ways. They've upgraded the quality of their merchandise. I mean, the original shirt was already great. They've upgraded the quality. We've worked together on a new design, and that is up today for the first

time for listeners. We'll get to that in a second. And then I also wanted to marry that

announcement to reading the letter that was put out on X recently by the president of Iran to the American people.

There's been a lot of like meaming on this.

Like oh, you know, the Iranian leadership is so like intellectual and advanced.

They think that Americans in some cases can read and making fun of the literacy crisis in the United States, but also the

idea that they have the attention span to read four pages, or that, you know, they're curious enough

to want to hear this. So there is some light mocking of the idea that the American people in

general are even open to reading such a thing, but I think it is worth

reading and reflecting on. I think it's well written. It's true. And, you know, I assume many people

will not have come across it or might have missed it or didn't read it. And so I figure, you know,

me reading it quickly would be a nice little way perhaps to amplify it and get it out to more people

for what it's worth
