and a market capitalisation well north of $220 billion.

And the fascinating story about Ping-An is that this company's just over three decades old

started from nothing and has not only become a major player in the Chinese insurance market

and has an incredible track record in spinning up and spinning off multi-billion dollar businesses

in areas as diverse as wealth management and health care.

The Ping-An story is truly fascinating.

The company has come from the rather stayed environment of property and casualty insurance

to build itself up as a technology behemoth,

operating a platform and an ecosystem strategy that we would normally associate

with the very fastest moving, very biggest technology and internet companies like

an Alibaba or a Google or an Amazon.
