and McIntyre, CEO of LIDAR company

SENS Botonics. But first Leslie, before we talk about LIDAR and

autonomous vehicles, I think the motor transportation we should be talking about is boats, because clearly you might need one to get around the Detroit area today.

How are you fairing in the, what seems like the 10th straight day of rain.

Staying comfortably in my home office, barely even going out to get the mail,

because it's been raining like crazy here.

And the unfortunate part about this storm, I think we got about five inches

yesterday. This was, today is the day that we're taping is supposed to be the public debut of the Motor Bella show which is a

version of the Detroit Auto show that's uh they're experimenting with having an outdoor venue with lots of

demonstrations and things like that and trying to modernize the traditional auto show so a lot of the activities got rained out yesterday. I mean there was some pretty stark footage on television about showing just flooded areas where they're supposed to be doing test drives and things like that.

So unfortunately, no trip to Motor Bella, but maybe they'll be able to dry out and recover.

One shell that did actually take off

was the one in Munich, Germany,

which is the IAA show.

And I thought it was interesting, and you wrote about this in automotive news

about how they had more of a mobility twist to these shows and this is becoming

more of a common theme for auto shows as they try to expand their audience.
