What's going on, guys, Alex here. Welcome back to the podcast. Time for another catechism. We are on question 14, week 14. Did God create us unable to keep his law? So last week we talked about the law, how we cannot keep it. No human has ever perfectly obeyed the law of God

besides only Jesus Christ, the son of God.

100% God, 100% man.

Now, why did God even create us?

Did he create us unable to keep his law?

What's the big deal with that?

The answer in the New City Catechism,

which I am in no partnership with them,

but Crossway and, um, and these guys, they've made this like really, really good

catechism that we're going through as a family and on this channel because it's going to

help us grow and the core doctrines of our faith. And these really good questions for us to

ponder every week will just help us understand our

Bibles more.

The answer that they gave is no.

So no, God did not create us unable to keep his law.

But because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all of creation is fallen

and we are all born in sin and guilt corruption corrupt in our nature

and unable to keep God's law now what is the saying this is saying our first parents

disobeyed God in Adam all die in Adam all sin we were in sin. We were in Adam. He's our parents. Just like you were

a part of your parents and your parents before you were born. We were with our parents. We're in our

parents. At the same time, Adam is our federal head. So in Adam eight, we all fell. All of

mankind fell because even Eve came from Adam.
