0:20.5	Now, so often, especially in the world of social media, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, hashtags, and selfies, leaders, companies, and individuals struggle with harnessing one of the most powerful traits of great
0:42.3	leadership, which is being humble. And I want you to know that I think about this all the
0:49.8	time. One, because I'm not inherently a humble person.
0:55.0	I have an ego like everybody else, if not twice as large.
0:59.0	And in business, we have track records.
1:03.0	And our track records have been good.
1:05.0	And for many of us, it gives us validity in our life and in our business
1:09.0	to talk about those successes and even some of those
1:13.5	failures. I read a book not too long ago that somebody shared with me and I wrote down a
1:20.4	couple messages, not thinking I was going to use it for anything else, but I often do this,
1:24.5	Chad. And one of them was pride is the enemy of self-improvement.
1:31.9	Oh, I like that.
1:33.1	Say it again.
1:34.0	Pride is the enemy of self-improvement.
1:39.1	Because when you start getting prideful, you start thinking that you know everything. And when you think you know
1:45.5	everything, you have nothing to learn so you don't go out there and try to improve. Sure. And a lot of
1:50.5	times businesses hit ceilings because they experience a ceiling created with pride. Yeah. In that same,
2:00.7	same book, Chad, it said, you must value self-improvement over self-promotion.
