It is April 7th, 2026. Hope everyone is doing well. God bless you guys for being here so early. If you're new here, these are my devotional thoughts. My name is John Prather, and I'm thankful that you guys sit in with me. We've been working our way through the book of First Corinthians. We're in First

Corinthians 15. We're going to go into another part of it. We didn't get very far yesterday. And I just kind of want to settle in it. It might take us another day to get through it. In fact, I know it will because there's so much there.

And, you know, you want to be careful that you don't rush through the word.

And I think that... so much there. And, you know, you want to be careful that you don't rush through the word.

And I think that sometimes we do that because we're trying to, it's like we're trying to take

ground. Like we're trying to just plow through it so we can, you know, check something off the

box and say, okay, that's, we read this much, and I've read that part,

and I can move on to the next thing.

What I want to encourage you guys to do when you're reading your Bible is, if you'll take

this from me, please, because I am the chief of wanting to just plow through, is don't ever try to get to the next part the scripture is as deep as

you want to take it i promise you it's as deep as you want to take it it can be it can be as surface

level as you need it to be but it can be as deep as you want to take it. There is so much there,

there's so much meaning, so much emphasis. The more that I have watched, I've been blessed in my

life to have people who know how to teach the scriptures, spiritual fathers, spiritual grandfathers,

just people who mentored and disciples to me. They could mind the depths and the riches of the scripture to the point where I realized

I'll live this entire life and never truly see everything that's there.

That in and of itself has been proof to me not only that God is and God loves us,

but that God has spoken to us in such a deep and powerful way through the scripture.

And so I want us to be careful

how we do it. I went back and I was listening to a little bit of yesterday morning's episode.
