You experienced power.

There are men and there are people.

Think about it.

Like one of the 12 disciples, I'm named after him, Thomas.

What's he famous for?

Doubting.

Right?

It wasn't until Thomas touched those holes that he's like, I believe that you are the son of God, that you defeated the grave.

And he became one of the greatest

disciples after that. But he had to see it. He had to touch it. And that's how it was for me and it

was for you. We had the head knowledge, right? And we could like, to a degree, follow some rules.

I could. And you were probably better than me. But I was a complete scumbag when it was head knowledge because I wasn't quite sure if God is real and if God is real,

is he good, right? Because, and if you, nobody knows my testimony, I was sexually abused by a teacher,

a male teacher when I was 12. And so, and I received Jesus six months before that. So I'm like,

wait, the same God that I repented to that like I belong to, now I just got abused.

I thought he loved me and he was going to like, he has plans for my life. How is that part of

plans for my life? So I had an anger for God, right? And so it wasn't like I turned my back on God,

but I actually just doubted whether or not he was real. And so in that moment, I knew that God was real and I knew that

he was good. And I knew that I was going to give the rest of my life to that powerful God.

Because I've done drugs and I've made money and I've done this, that, the other, all the things

that make fireworks go off in your brain. But it wasn't until I had an encounter with the Holy Ghost that

everything changed for me.
