I truly, I can't get over it. I finished it a couple days ago. I knew it would be good.

I was so excited to read it. And it exceeded all expectations. Oh my gosh. So brave. So honest and so beautifully written. And you wrote it yourself.

I did. With help from a collaborator, like edits and helping me be more concise.

Sure. Because I was, I think I was like around 100 pages

over my word what I was supposed to be so I was like I don't know how to shorten this so but yeah

I wanted to make sure I typed everything out myself so that it was in my my voice I didn't want

it to just be someone recording me talking.

I wanted to do the work myself.

But I did work with Val and so much props to her.

She was my collaborator on it and key editor to help make sure that I got to the point

and that it flowed because I'm really good at sidetracking you might see in this conversation.

So to just kind of help it all be more cohesive and easier to follow.

You talk about a lot of family dynamics, complicated family dynamics,

church stuff, faith-crisising, leaving the church, your sexuality. How does it feel now that

your story is out there? I mean, your book was released February 17th, however long ago,

that is, but there's been some time now I'm sure you're gettingth, however long ago, that is.
