Way back in season one I covered the Defeo murders which led to the Amityville horror

zeitgeist.

And then last season on her show Crimes of the Centries, my pal and colleague Pulitzer Prize

winner Amber Hunt interviewed me for her episode about the Defeo Murders, and let me tell you,

her episode turned out so much better than mine.

I was put to shame by how much more basic information Amber had and how much fuller and

richer the story is because of it.

So I have vowed to do better and also to present you with the far superior

version of the Defeo murders. After you listen to this episode, go back and listen to my two-parter

from season one and I think you'll agree.
