I admit, Lord, that what I want to see happen I cannot make happen.

And both meanings are longings and prayers that I have for our church and for the evangelical

church globally. The first meaning from bloodlines to bloodline is that God would so work

to gather all of his people from all the ethnic bloodlines of the world into one glorious

bloodline defined by the shedding of the blood of Jesus and purchased by Jesus and

birth by Jesus as he shed blood to make one new bloodline of a new humanity at the cross. That's the first meaning of the title.
