0:00.0	I went from a six foot three fairly athletic guy to not laying in a hospital bed with no arms and all legs having people feed me and change my clothes and help me, you know, with everything.
0:10.4	So there was moments of that plus a little bit of like why didn't I just die you know and kind of this the self doubt of like how could I ever you know do anything positive or worthwhile like this.

0:56.7	So that's where I'm going with it and I got cool tricks. Yeah
0:59.1	That doesn't know you're gonna. You think that would hurt but it don't. Wow yeah my brain it computers that hurting.
1:04.0	Yeah well the first time it fell off it was a little painful but ever since then it's like daily.
1:08.0	Damn did you get that right away or did that just come from there?
1:11.0	So I got five weeks I got a hand finally after recovery so five weeks and I got my hand for the first time
1:18.0	I learned how to open it and close it and do all the stuff. Wow so it took five weeks so you were in the
1:22.4	bed for the whole five weeks and then you finally got that?
1:25.0	Yeah I mean when I was when I was hit by I got hit by roadside bomb the right
1:31.2	side of me was completely gone never found the left side was still there but they had to cut it off during surgery and the two days after that
1:36.7	They took me for a washer out and they cut my left hand off the rest of the way
1:39.7	She's so I became known as quadruple amp amputee. I was one of five.
1:44.0	I'm the fourth out of five to survive this kind of injury.
1:47.0	Wow.
1:48.0	And then during my recovery at Walter Reed,
