Oh yeah that was cool. It was also kind of creepy but mostly cool.

Well there's a new experiment that's somewhat similar but equally fascinating.

Scientists recently took skin stem cells from frog embryos and started growing them in a lab,

basically creating microscopic living machines.

These cells grew into small blobs called xenobots.

Even though they don't have nerve cells or a brain,

they're capable of some pretty impressive things.

Wait, the scientists started growing their own living frogs?

Yeah, they did.

And they have been for a while because if you recall, we also talked about scientists

growing new frog legs.
