Let’s talk about the evolution of friendships, career goals, and affirmations with my bff from highschool, Emily Dugger. You may remember Emily from episode 10 as we talked about moving to NYC without a job after getting her MBA and comparing herself to her friends. After many interview rejections, Emily realized a mindset shift could help her land a job. She went from saying “why me?” to “what can I change” and secured a job in brand merchandising at Ralph Lauren shortly after! Emily shares what she has learned since starting her corporate job and how her friendships and relationship with her boyfriend have evolved as she started focusing on using affirmations to reflect her goals. We talk about friendship, love languages, treating yourself with kindness, and the importance of being a good friend to yourself.
