Summary

We all long for friends, but it can be a struggle to find them. As the world around us is becoming increasingly lonely, what can we do to build solid friendships? This week, Pastor Ben Stuart is back with the first of two messages on the importance of friends! In our increasingly divisive and isolating culture, the state of friendships has only been getting worse in. Pastor Ben shows us that there's hope for all of us to forge solid friendships when we start by focusing on the true source of all friendships - God. Key Verses // John 15:12-19, 1 John 4:7-12

eating meals with some of those friends for some of their favorite moments. A couple

them questions about their life and genuinely interested in the answers was thrilling to

our kids. And I remember at one point, it was about bedtime and we were all sitting around

1:18.8

these friends of ours and our kids and we were talking about what we appreciate about

each other. And they were talking about how they told jokes together and laughed and

1:27.5

played games and asked questions. Then we said what we really like about each other.

Talked about our favorite moment from the day. And I'll never forget my son was snuggled

up in a chair with me and he goes, Dad, I know my epic best moment of today. And I was

like, what is it, son? He goes, the moment I walked through that door. I'm like, well,

that's sweet. We did not say it, but he's just saying, I entered into this realm where
