Well last week, we kicked off the new series. I had two conversations this week. This is crazy to

me. I talked to a 60-something-year-old business executive and a 16-year-old high school student.

They both told me the exact same thing that last week we began a series that's one of the most

relevant things we've talked about since they've been coming to our church, which I'll just have

to say I have to go all of our team credit because it wasn't my idea and I wouldn't have come up with

it. But they came to me several months ago and said, hey, we're just sense like this is a big deal

and relationships and community and the fabric of that's being torn apart in our culture.

So I sort of relented. At first I was resistant but then I relented and I'm so glad I did as we've

kind of put this together. It's been meaningful for me in my own life. You weren't with us last week.

Today we're continuing our series, Friendology. It's all about creating a culture of meaningful

relationships in our lives, which is something we were designed for. Last week, one of the things we

proved not just from the scriptures. We did it from there as well, but we looked at the

Surgeon General Advisory, the Surgeon General in May of this year, put out a warning about an

epidemic that nobody was talking about. He said it was maybe the most significant epidemic in our

nation's history, which is saying a lot after we've just come out of the pandemic, but Dr.
