A few things before we get to cleaning out to Sound Fridge that I wasn't able to jam into the radio show.

Metallica has announced they're going to play the Las Vegas sphere, which would be pretty cool.

I'll bet they come up with a great visual package, which is what the sphere shows are all about.

I've been to the sphere a couple of times, and it is spectacular.

Man, I saw Metallica a couple of years ago and they are just incredible on stage.

Yeah, the sphere experience is interesting for concerts because if you want to enjoy the visual part,

you actually want to sit way far away from the stage.

And if you're way far away from the stage at some point, it's like, why am I not just listening to this on the stereo?

But the visual part is so amazing.

Was it you or another friend who said that it can be kind of disorienting?

Oh, definitely.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

You have to close your eyes sometimes.

I didn't have to do that.

My kids did.

But it's super steep. You're way, way up high, and it's super steep. And it looks like if you tumbled out of your seat, you would fall to your death. Yeah, I'm not happening. No. But the visuals just absolutely sting. Oh, and the sound, it's got, I forget what is, 123,000 speakers or something like that.
