Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawson with this Great America show Midday Update for Friday, November 7th.

Happy Friday, folks. The Chuck Schumer run, Marxist Dem run, government shutdown continues,

and it looks like it's going into the weekend. It's after we reported yesterday that they were

close to a deal. The Republicans and Democrats on reopening that government, it appears they're

a little bit further apart

than previously expected. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the Democrats previously shut down

the government because they wanted to give illegal aliens, taxpayer-funded health care. After failing to

reopen the government more than a dozen times, Schumer said just moments ago that a proposed new

plan to end the shutdown,

he's got it. It's just not a good one. Senate Democrats are now proposing a one-year extension

of Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act ACA subsidies, which are set to expire in January.

That one-year extension would put them into next year's elections, which it's possible

the Democrats would have how bad the Republicans have been on messaging could win that

House back. So sneaky Dickens, Chuck Schumer, it's not going to work. Democrat Schumer

offering that plan just moments ago, quote, Democrats are ready to clear the way to quickly

pass a government funding bill that includes health care affordability. Now all of a sudden he's

ready to negotiate. Leather Thune just needs to add a clean one-year extension of the ACA tax credits

to that CR so we could immediately address the rising health care costs. So why didn't

Chuck Schumer talk to Barack Hussein about that when Barack Hussein gave us Obamacare? Didn't he think

it was probably a good time to do it then? You know, back when they ruined health care for all the

people who pay for it, when they drove premiums through

the roof, that would have probably been an appropriate time. I think that Chuck the Schmuck could
