So this is going to be a weird kind of show, but here's the deal.

You and I got our hands on a copy of a 1988 episode of Friday the 13th, The Series.

We did, and we're going to check it out tonight on the Purple Stuff podcast.

Yeah, this one is complete with commercials, and that's why we're really here,

but we'll also talk about the show a little bit.

You get a little bit of everything tonight.

We were little kids back then.

Yeah.

This series, Friday 13th, the series ran from 1987 through 1990.

It was another one of those syndicated shows.

It had no set time or channel, but around us, at least, it aired pretty late at night on the weekend.

Definitely, like random times too.

Like sometimes it would like switch the time. You know, it was very, uh, kind of like

plugging it anywhere, wherever they had a gap.
