The year is 1989, and Jason Voorhees is accidentally awakened from his watery grave

and ends up stalking a ship full of graduating high school students headed to Manhattan,

and the final scenes of this film are shot there as well as the opening, but there is so much

that happens along the way.

And I loved this New York. I just wish we'd spent more time there.

I mean, this film really sets the tone of a New York movie.

I mean, the opening sequences, the dirty alleys, the trash cans full of water, and just an

establishing shot on a rat that I feel like lasted for 30 seconds.
