Hello you. Welcome to You Are Good, a feelings podcast about movies. Today we are talking about Friday the 13th. I'm talking about it with my great friend and co-host, Sarah Marshall. I am your other co-host, Alex Steed.

I'm out here at the Osprey Valley Music Festival.

I run the Farm to Table Food Program for their music and string camp I have for years and years.

And yeah, this is like my 12th or 13th year

doing this. So please excuse the audio if there are any issues with that or it sounds a little

different than normal. I'm recording this on my phone. You are good to as a feeling podcast about

movies. Here's what that means. We are not film critics. We're not talking about these movies

critically necessarily, although we do talk about them critically from time to time. We are

talking about what these movies make us think about with regard to who and how we are in the

world. Friday of the 13th is a 1980 American slasher film produced and directed by Sean

S. Cunningham. It's great. We actually talk about how great this movie is. I don't think

either of us expected it for some reason, even though we have history with this movie. The plot

follows a group of teenage camp counselors who are murdered one by one by an unknown killer

while they're attempting to reopen an abandoned summer camp with a tragic past. Really, truly love this movie.

I'm glad that I'm recording this intro from a campground, all things considered.
