When we did the show last Friday, we were like, come on, it's about time to hire an offensive coordinator. The next day, Arthur Smith gets hired. So I want to get J-Book's thoughts on the Art Smith hired, get J-Book's thoughts on Ohio State's 2026 schedule. And then we're going to get into Ohio State's roster building strategy. We'll delve into that a little bit. But first thing, my friend, what do you think about Arthur Smith coming here as

offensive coordinator?

I do.

I know there are a lot of people out there who are skeptical about this hire.

For me, Dave, it's all about experience and what he's going to bring to the table as far as hoping that he elevates the run game.

And I had tweeted it out at the time of the hire that I remember specifically when Coach Lachlan did a media tour right after Ohio State won the national championship. He told the

story about how being in the meeting room with Chip Kelly and Ryan Day, he compared it to two

artists in their prime who were just going at it with each other.

What I mean by that, Ryan Day's passing game concepts,

meshing with Chip Kelly's run game concept.

And Lockham was saying it was a thing of beauty.

He said he had stacks of notebooks where he was just in there like a kid

in the classroom, just taking notes and watching those two guys bounce off ideas and concepts
