We are in Psalm 7 and learning a whole lot

about what to do when we are in situations where we are misrepresented.

Sometimes when one particular person has become just such a nettlesome thorn in our side,

and as we take that hurt to the Lord, it teaches us a bit about our own attitude.

Lord, is this true? Could it be that the sting is not so much criticism as it is conviction?

Maybe that's the case. David was willing to consider that. Could it be that this situation was allowed of the

Lord in my life so that through that process of taking it to God, asking for God's help, I'm learning

things about the character of God. I'm developing an appetite for the kingdom of God that I would

not have otherwise had. And we have to admit that these times in our life are often the times
