Former President Trump and the Department of Justice continue their sparring match over

the now-famous documents removed from Trump's Mar-a-Lago residents.

In recent court filings, Trump's team called the August 8th search, quote, unprecedented,

unnecessary, and legally unsupported, and they said that a president being in possession

of, quote, his own presidential records is not cause for a raid.

The DOJ disagrees, saying they only executed the search warrant after multiple attempts to retrieve

the classified documents in less of trusive ways, and they found evidence of potential, quote,

obstructive conduct.

As for the papers themselves, yesterday a judge delayed ruling on Trump's request for

a special master to review documents seized by the FBI, which the DOJ says would unnecessarily

delay their investigation and harm national security, but she ordered the public release

of a more detailed list of what was taken.

The world has different priorities than God does, and many eternally insignificant things
