| 0:00.0 | It's Friday, |
| 0:05.0 | Friday, September 13, 2024. |
| 0:07.5 | I'm Albert Molar and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from |
| 0:12.2 | a Christian worldview. |
| 0:14.0 | Well, we've been talking about this for some time, |
| 0:16.1 | and we're going to come back to it again and again. |
| 0:18.5 | One of the biggest moral issues of our day, an issue that should be front line in terms of the concerns |
| 0:25.8 | of Christians is a falling birth rate, in one sense a falling birth rate all over the world. |
| 0:30.9 | In particular, a catastrophically falling birth rate in certain places such as just for example |

| 1:09.8 | side, a falling birth rate means you're not going to have enough workers. You're going to have more |
| 1:14.7 | aging people who are aging out of the workplace than you're going to have younger people |
| 1:19.5 | aging into the workplace. That's catastrophic. And frankly frankly there isn't a society on the |
| 1:25.0 | planet that's prepared for that. Just look at what's going on in Japan where |
| 1:29.0 | they are this isn't a joke. They are increasingly using robots in order to take care of people in nursing homes. |
| 1:37.8 | And we're looking at a deeply sad, even tragic development from a Christian worldview perspective, what kind of world is so sad |
| 1:46.4 | that you have a falling birth rate like this? |
