really well and the other minute it all goes to shit? Is there a phrase for that?

You know how we were talking about that amazing sweet spot of parenting and then we're absolutely loving it?

My son is being so irritating.

He is being awful to me.

Tell me.

I mean, I know he got you to come and get him from school for being sick last week. That really made me laugh. I actually loved that for him. I haven't told everyone what happened. But essentially, I got a call from the school saying Kit's feeling very unwell and he looks very peeky. And you must come and get him. And I was like, oh gosh, because he was fine a couple of hours ago. Like, is he really ill?

And they were like, yeah, no, he looks awful.

Pick him up.

He gets in the car and he goes, hi, mommy.

And I was like, hi. He goes, oh, can we go for a fish finger rack? Because I'm starving. I was like, but they said you've been sick. and he was like, or have I?

He lied about being ill because he wanted to spend the afternoon with me on a Friday.

Oh, it's cute.

Because he was like, you've been in hospital with Luna and Ila had her operation and I haven't seen you. I mean, but that's just the start of it, mate. He just, he won't put his shoes on. He's lying about brushing his teeth. I mean, his teeth are going to fall out. He's calling me the worst mum ever. He told me to shush this
