Hello, my friends. Welcome to another prayed together episode. It is Friday, February 25th, and we are coming to prayer in light of world events that are happening, that are just beyond thinking. I mean, Russia has invaded the country of Ukraine. And while we don't know all the details and history behind this, at least

most of us don't, we know that Jesus is the ruler of the kings of the earth. Amen. And it can seem

perhaps that praying for the things we're going to be praying about that people have submitted

are kind of

trivial things sometimes in light of a big world event like that. But I want to encourage

you nothing is trivial to God. Nothing is too small for his attention. And even though worldwide

massive things are going on, life goes on as well. The situations you and I deal with,

we are still dealing with. And God needs to be brought to bear on that circumstance, both in our

hearts, our minds, our attitudes, I mean, just in every way. And so I want to count our prayer

time in that today. I want us to be thinking, God is concerned,

not just about the big events, but also about the small things, the personal things. Maybe that's a

better way to say it. And I want to encourage you today to join me in aligning our hearts and our

minds with God as we pray for these requests and knowing that he is the ruler

of the kings of the earth. He is the one who controls and governs and guides all things. And we are

able to come to him by the grace, by the blood of Jesus Christ, and present our request to Him.

Let's go together to prayer.

Lord, we start today with an anonymous request from a sister who says she is not on good terms

with her ex-boyfriend and has tried to make amends because of the things that happened

as they broke up.

And she's received a very cold, heartless response and has been very difficult on her emotionally

as she tries to move on past this situation.

So, Lord, we pray for this, sister, that you would first off mend her heart by knitting it to yours.
