Hello, my friends, and welcome to another Friday Pray Together episode.

These episodes are very important.

These are our time to support each other as listeners through prayer.

And don't forget, you can pray for the things you hear in these episodes throughout the week

as the Holy Spirit brings them to your mind

once you've heard the episode. So please don't think Friday is the only time you can pray.

If the Lord brings something to mine, pray for it, please. Now today, we have a few requests

that you may have heard on previous Friday episodes before. And I love that these requests continue to come in because they remind me of Luke

chapter 18 verses 1 through 8. Jesus was teaching and in verse 1, Luke gives us a description of what this

teaching was about. He says, and Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought

always to pray and not lose heart. So friends, do you hear what Luke is saying? Jesus wanted us to pray

and to continue praying and to not lose heart, not lose our faith and be discouraged that the prayers are taking so long to be answered.

And here is the story that Jesus told. He said, in a certain city, there was a judge who neither

feared God nor respected man. So the image I get about this man is that he is strongheaded,

he's proud, he's kind of full of himself, and he takes

his position as a judge as one of authority and seriousness.

It says, and there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, give me justice

against my adversary.

Now, isn't it interesting that Jesus does not give any details about the woman's situation?

He leaves it pretty vague, but he just says she needs justice. And isn't that the realm of

a judge is to bring justice? So she's asking for something very appropriate. And the next

verse says, for a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself,
