Hello, my friends. Welcome to another Pray Together episode. It is likely that this recording sounds a little

different than previous recordings. It's because my family and I are traveling, and I'm recording this in a hotel,

I guess you'd call it a game room. It's where they allow guests to come down and watch television and play

games, those sorts of things.

And it's early in the morning.

So I'm hopeful that sound of the air conditioning in the background or the heat, whatever it is that's going on will not be distracting to you as we pray together.

One thing I would ask you to pray with me about is how I should handle these pray together episodes moving forward. We're getting more

and more requests, which I praise the Lord for, but I need wisdom to know if we should split

these into two sessions and if so, how to do that, how to fit it into my schedule. It feels to be

that there's a value in all of us joining together for an extended length of time to pray,

but at the same time, I know it can become unmanageable, and that some of you just can't fit in an entire

session when we have 35 requests like we do today. So please be praying for me in that, and please

join me now as we go to prayer for these brothers and sisters in Christ.

We have many important requests.

And as the scriptures teach us, our Father is eager and willing to answer prayer.

So let's go to Him now.

Father, we thank you for the privilege of being able to pray.

We thank you for all of these brothers and sisters who have provided

requests for us to pray for. We ask you to give us wisdom and insight as we pray for these needs.

We begin by praying for Caroline, who's asking us to pray first of all for her brother,

who has been an alcoholic for the last 18 years, and she wants us to pray with her for his salvation

and deliverance from his addiction.
