| 0:00.0 | It's Friday, October 4, 2024. |
| 0:07.0 | I'm Albert Moeller, and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview. |
| 0:14.0 | Well, today we find ourselves talking about comments made by the former First Lady |
| 0:18.0 | Malaniya Trump on the issue of abortion. |
| 0:21.0 | And it just shows how volatile this issue is just when you think you have reached a certain point in the discussion all of a sudden a new statement is made and new development happens. |
| 0:30.0 | And we as Christians need to recognize we are at a political impasse here. |

| 1:18.6 | The Democratic Party for the course of the last 40 years has been moving in an increasingly aggressive |
| 1:24.5 | direction on the issue of abortion towards the demand for basically no |
| 1:28.1 | restrictions on abortion whatsoever. Furthermore, the current Democratic nominee Kamo Harris is called for the elimination of the Hyde Amendment. |
| 1:36.2 | That would require American taxpayers to pay for abortion. |
| 1:39.4 | And so the Democratic Party right now is the party of abortion basically funded by the federal |
| 1:45.3 | government paid for by all taxpayers and abortion without restriction. |
| 1:50.1 | Well at least until recently the Republican Party has offered a clear alternative. |
