Today's lead story is that yesterday afternoon, President Biden announced that the final

reconciliation bill will be $1.75 trillion, and will specifically include some of the

following highlights, though I should add that nothing is final until there's a vote.

The current plan will have universal pre-K for 3 and 4 year olds, $500 billion toward

climate action, healthcare expansions, including expansion of Medicare benefits to include hearing,

but not dental envision, you're on your own for those.

The plan will also include additional funding for child care, and a one year expansion of

the child tax credit, elder care, and higher education loans.

Administration officials claim that this will be funded by the following.

Tax increases on corporations that are worth over $1 billion, companies that perform stock

buybacks.

New surtax on those with incomes above $10 million, as well as about $400 billion to
