Good morning, everybody, the Simple Handicap for Friday, October 27. Thank you for making me a part of your morning.

We are at the final market rundown here for NFL week number eight. And it's a little bit less of an exciting final market rundown on the week, comparatively speaking, to last week where it was just a lot of conviction, a lot of sort of straightforward bets that were made all week. This week, just not quite landing in the ranges that you were hoping for. So we got a couple spots, sides and totals. We got a couple props that we can talk about as we go through the card. A lot of them, unfortunately, not posted yet. But I'll give you kind of a couple things to look into as we wrap up the week here on the podcast.

Let's start it off with the Saints on the road at the Indianapolis Colts.

It is Saints minus one across the board total in this game as high as 44 at Chris.

Still ticking up just a little bit with offense expected from both of these teams.

This isn't necessarily a bet that I would be running to make, but something that stood

out to me as maybe just being a little bit off is Gardner-Minchie was posted at a couple

of the legal sports books within the U.S. at seven and a half rushing yards.

And I'm making a very strong habit this year and last year to not bet

players at their position doing something that their position doesn't call for. For example,

running back, receivings over, quarterback rushing overs, really try to stay away with it,

with the exception being like a Lamar Jackson who really plays

that dual role. Gardner Minsh was utilized on a number of designed runs last week for Shane

Steichen, had the big one for the touchdown, but he had his number called a couple more times.

The Saints play a ton of man coverage. Going to have their backs turned on some situations,

especially if the Colts are playing

from behind. That's something to kind of keep an eye on. Another thing that I would say is

Michael Pittman had a very out-of-character outburst earlier this week. And it was interesting

as I was reading through the forums and reading through some other places. They're like, Pittman doesn't do this. And Pittman's been leading the team in receptions.

He's been leading the team in targets. There's been kind of a back and forth between him and

Josh Downs in the last couple of weeks. Prop market really likes downs. But I'm not going to say

it's like a Devante Adams-esque situation like we saw a week ago
