All right, it is Friday, November 8th, 2024. Happy Friday, everybody. Long week. It's first thing with Kevin Mano. Real quick look at all the headlines as you start your day and the show starts right now.

And we always start with the top story. The top story for the last several weeks has been the election. And even though it's behind us, it is still dominating headlines. President-elect Trump now has a

75-day transition period to do things like fill his cabinet and build his team. The news this

morning is that he has officially named his campaign manager, Susie Wiles, as his chief of staff.

That was his first major decision.

And again, as of this morning, we still don't know which way control of the House will go.

There are a handful of uncalled races that will determine whether or not it's a Democratic

House or a Republican House.

All right. Okay, on the sports.

Last night was Thursday night football.

The Ravens hosted the Bengals, and it was a very, very tight game.

The Ravens won at 35 to 34, down to the wire.

Hey, congrats to Kevin Lime Cooler.

First of all, it's a great name.

Second, he just broke a world record after running the entire New York City Marathon in Crocs.

That record did exist, and he beat it by seven minutes.

Crocs and Sox, that was his look.

Lastly, in other sports news, we are now one week away from the Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight.

There's a docu series about it on Netflix right now.

This has been in the works for a long time, and it's almost here next Friday, the 15th, live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Those two will step in the ring.
