Hey, friends, welcome back to today's episode of Everyday Truth.

I'm standing here by the, or sitting here, I should say, by the Corinth Canal, which is really a modern wonder.

It's a canal that divides or not divides, but connects the Serronic Gulf to the Gulf of Corinth, and it makes a way for ships to pass through where they don't have to go all the way around the Peloponnesian Peninsula.

So that probably doesn't mean much to you, but it's pretty amazing to me here with a group from, well, all around the country, leading them on a trip of the journeys of Paul here in

Greece, but wanted to spend some time with you on the podcast. So we're in Proverbs chapter four,

as you know. And I want to just, I'm going to give you some podcasts here in the next few days

I did want to finish kind of our thought from yesterday where we're talking about the

path, the path of the wicked, the path of the just.

And when it comes to the path of the wicked, avoiding it, not passing by it, turning from it, passing on, and just the importance of recognizing bad directions in our life and how to recognize that, what to do.

And what the Bible says in verse number 15, verse number 16, they sleep not, except they have done mischief.

And their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall.

So speaking about the wicked, that they find their satisfaction in mischief.

They find their life's purpose in doing wrong. It has become

addictive behavior in their life. It has become habitual. And so I think the idea there for us as

believers is make sure that we're not habituating ourselves to evil.

Now once you walk down the wrong path, you become accustomed to that path.

You become accustomed to walking that way, and it becomes a habit and a driving force in your life.
