It's Friday, November 22nd, 2024. I'm Albert Moller, and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview.

0:13.9

Well, it wasn't surprising, but still it was shocking when former Florida Congressman Matt Gates withdrew from consideration to serve as Attorney General

0:22.6

of the United States in the second Trump administration. It was an announcement on Twitter

0:28.2

or X that came in which Matt Gates said, quote, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly

0:34.4

1:36.2

have to face the argument and make very clear you're standing by your claim that you did not do it.

1:42.1

And that means you have to state that you're willing to face

1:45.1

whatever evidence or so-called evidence someone might bring forward. The fact that Matt Gates was

1:51.0
