Hurricane Nicole made landfall in Florida at 3 a.m. on Thursday and was quickly

downgraded to a tropical storm, but it still took the lives of at least four people. 24 hotels

and condos, as well as 25 single-family homes, were declared unsafe last night night and people were ordered to evacuate.

Homes along the coast have been collapsing into the Atlantic Ocean. There are over

308,000 people in Florida without power right now. Parts of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina

have been dealing with tornado threats from this storm.

Tropical storm Nicole is expected to head to Georgia where it will weaken to a depression.

The stock market had its biggest day in two years after a report was released showing the
