The House last night passed a bill to cut money from the IRS and to also provide $14 billion in aid to Israel.

The first time that we could remember, everyone is saying it's the first time overall.

I don't know that it's the first time overall, although I do, I guess I do believe that,

that the House or Senate has conditioned Israel support on domestic spending cuts.

A new precedent that Mike Johnson has set in his second week in the speakership, and one, quite frankly, that a lot of

people are uncomfortable with, especially House and Senate Democrats, I'd even say. But Mike Johnson,

on every issue that Congress is currently considering, every single issue, Johnson is not only out

a step with Senate Democrats in the Biden administration, but he's also out of step with Senate Republican leadership, which has its own unique set of challenges.

The Israel bill that one I just talked about is dead in the Senate. Chuck Schumer has vowed to completely ignore it.

Instead of notching a quick victory, probably would be 400 votes in the House,

Johnson decided to tie this aid to IRS cuts, which makes the Senate apt to completely ignore this bill.
